HECHT 947 957 Chainsaw Ignition Coil Module

Ignition coil module fits Hecht 947, 957. Replacing part number 947000105. The ignition coil is an electronic module mounted adjacent to the flywheel that generates the high-voltage pulse delivered to the spark plug at each combustion cycle. When the ignition coil fails — through internal winding breakdown, cracked housing or damage caused by heat and vibration — the spark plug receives no signal and the engine will not start or will cut out intermittently during use. A failed ignition coil is one of the most common causes of a no-spark condition on these saws. Fitting a replacement restores reliable spark generation and gets the engine starting and running correctly.
