Complete cylinder and piston kit with crankshaft fits Scheppach CSP2540 and many other 25cc chainsaws, including the cylinder, piston kit, crankshaft, bearings and seals. Together these form the engine’s core: the piston moves inside the cylinder bore to convert combustion pressure into rotating motion at the crankshaft, while the bearings support the crankshaft’s rotation and the seals keep the crank chamber airtight. When the cylinder bore scores or wears, the piston or rings wear out, the crankshaft bearings fail, or the crank seals leak, the engine loses compression and the ability to run correctly, typically showing up as loss of power, excessive smoking, rough running or the engine seizing. Fitting this complete kit addresses the core engine components together, restoring proper compression and running condition without needing to source each part individually.
