OLEO-MAC GSH400 Chainsaw Fuel Tank Cap

Fuel tank cap fits the Oleo-Mac GSH400 chainsaw and many other chainsaws. The fuel tank cap seals the filler opening on the fuel tank, preventing fuel from spilling during use and keeping dirt and debris out of the tank. A cracked or poorly sealing cap allows fuel to escape when the saw is tilted or inverted, and can let contamination into the fuel system that blocks the fuel filter or damages the carburettor. A cap with a failed internal breather can also cause a vacuum to build up in the tank as fuel is consumed, progressively starving the engine of fuel mid-use. Replacing a damaged or missing cap restores a proper tank seal and keeps the fuel system clean.
