Original Yamaha cam chain tensioner gasket fits the Yamaha XV535 Virago motorcycle. This gasket seals the joint between the cam chain tensioner housing and the engine casing, preventing oil leakage at this point. When the gasket hardens, compresses or tears, it can no longer hold a tight seal, allowing oil to seep out at the tensioner housing joint. Fitting a replacement original Yamaha gasket whenever the cam chain tensioner is removed for servicing restores a proper oil-tight seal.
