Original Stihl air filter fits Stihl FS94, FS94C, FS94RC, HL91KC, HL92C, HL92KC and HL94C strimmers and brushcutters. The air filter sits in the intake tract ahead of the carburettor, trapping dust, grass and debris before air reaches the engine. As the filter clogs, tears or becomes saturated with oil and dirt, airflow into the carburettor is restricted, upsetting the air-fuel mixture and causing symptoms such as loss of power, black smoke or difficulty starting.
