OLEO-MAC GSH 400 Chainsaw Engine Cover With Screws

Engine cover fits Oleo-Mac GSH400 and many other chainsaws. The engine cover wraps around the cylinder and muffler, directing cooling air from the flywheel fan over the engine’s finning while also shielding the operator from direct contact with hot components. When the cover cracks, its mounting tabs break, or it warps, the shroud can no longer sit securely in place, reducing airflow to the cooling fins and risking the engine running hotter than intended, or leaving hot surfaces exposed. Fitting a replacement cover restores proper cooling airflow and heat shielding.
