STIHL 020AV Complete Gasket Set

The Gasket Genius complete gasket set covers Stihl 020AV chainsaws with 1x crankcase gasket, 1x oil tank gasket, 1x cylinder gasket and 1x exhaust muffler gasket. The crankcase and cylinder gaskets keep the crank chamber sealed so the two-stroke engine can build proper compression, the oil tank gasket seals the oil tank to keep bar and chain lubrication contained, and the muffler gasket stops exhaust gases escaping at the joint where the muffler bolts to the engine. As these gaskets age, harden or compress, they lose their seal — a failing crankcase or cylinder gasket typically shows up as rough or unstable idle or loss of power, a worn oil tank gasket can lead to an oil leak, and a failing muffler gasket allows exhaust to leak at the joint. Fitting a new set whenever these components are separated for servicing restores a proper seal.
