PATRIOT BP 41 Chainsaw Ignition Coil Module With Bolts

Ignition coil module fits Patriot BP 41 and many other chainsaws. The ignition coil sits close to the flywheel, sensing the passing magnets and building up a high-voltage pulse that it fires through the HT lead to the spark plug at the precise point in the engine’s rotation needed to ignite the fuel-air mixture. As the coil ages, its internal windings can break down or its air gap to the flywheel can drift out of spec, leading to a weak spark, intermittent misfiring, or a complete loss of spark and a no-start condition. Fitting a replacement ignition coil module restores a strong, correctly timed spark.
