4500 5200 5800 Chainsaw Stop Switch Contact Spring

Stop switch contact spring fits 4500 (45CC), 5200 (52CC) and 5800 (58CC) chainsaws including Plantiflex, BBT, B&Q, Silverline, Kiam Sherwood, Sanli, Rok, Whitemoss, Skatco, Eckman, Timbertech, Tarus, Viron, MT-9999, Trueshopping and many others. The contact spring is the small metal spring within the stop switch assembly that maintains electrical contact between the switch and the ignition circuit. When the spring is fatigued, deformed or broken, the switch may fail to ground the ignition correctly, resulting in the engine being impossible to stop or difficult to start.

Replacing a worn contact spring restores reliable ignition cut-off function without the need to replace the entire stop switch assembly.
