HECHT 947 Chainsaw Rear Cover

Rear cover fits Hecht 947. Replacing part number 947000077. The rear cover is the plastic panel that encloses the back of the engine unit, covering the crankcase area at the opposite end of the saw from the guide bar. It protects the internal engine components from sawdust, debris and moisture entering from the rear, and contributes to the structural rigidity of the saw body. A cracked or broken rear cover leaves the engine vulnerable to contamination and should be replaced to maintain the saw in safe working condition.
