HECHT 947 Chainsaws Recoil Starter Bolt Set

Recoil starter bolt set fits Hecht 947. Replacing part number 947000145. The recoil starter is secured to the engine casing by a set of bolts that must be correctly torqued to hold the starter housing flat against the casing and prevent air leaks at the starter flange. Damaged, stripped or missing starter bolts allow the recoil starter to shift under the repeated loading of each pull-start attempt, which can cause the starter housing to crack and the pawls to misalign with the flywheel. Supplied as a complete set so all bolts can be replaced together.
