HECHT 947 OREGON 16″ .325 0.058″ Chainsaw Guide Bar

Guide bar 16″ .325 1.5mm fits Hecht 947 and many other chainsaws with the same bar specification, replacing part numbers 245R40 and 168PXBK095. The guide bar is the steel rail around which the cutting chain runs, supported at the tip by the sprocket nose and driven at the heel by the drive sprocket. The .325 pitch and 1.5mm (0.058″) gauge must match the cutting chain and drive sprocket on the saw — an incorrect bar risks chain derailment and damage to the drive system. A bar with grooved rails, a seized sprocket nose or visible bending causes poor cutting performance, uneven chain wear and increased risk of chain throw. A matching cutting chain (16″ .325 1.5mm 0.058″ 66DL) is available separately.
