MCCULLOCH CS35 Chainsaw Clutch Drum Kit

Clutch drum kit fits McCulloch CS35 chainsaw. The kit contains the clutch drum, needle bearing and washer — all three components that make up the complete clutch drum assembly. The clutch drum houses the sprocket that drives the saw chain, and spins freely on the crankshaft at idle via the needle bearing. When engine speed rises, the clutch shoes engage the inside of the drum and drive the chain. A worn or seized needle bearing causes the drum to drag at idle, keeping the chain moving when it shouldn’t. A worn sprocket inside the drum produces uneven chain drive and accelerates chain and guide bar wear. Replacing the complete kit restores smooth clutch operation and correct chain drive.
