Middle anti-vibe (AV) spring set fits McCulloch CS35 and Partner 340S, 350S, 360S chainsaws, replacing part number 574224201. Positioned at the middle anti-vibration mount, these springs sit between the engine and the rest of the chassis, damping engine vibration before it reaches the handles. Once a spring weakens, fatigues, or its mount perishes, damping at this point is lost, letting more vibration through to the operator and potentially leaving the housing sitting loose or rattling against the engine. Fitting a replacement spring set restores proper vibration damping at the middle mount.
