OLEO-MAC GSH 400 Chainsaw Carburettor Intake Manifold Kit

Intake / inlet manifold kit fits Oleo-Mac GSH400 and many other chainsaws. The intake manifold is the flexible rubber boot connecting the carburettor to the cylinder, carrying the fuel-air mixture between them while also acting as a sealing joint at both ends. When this boot perishes, cracks, or splits with age and heat exposure, it can draw in unmetered “false air” at the split, upsetting the fuel-air mixture, or leak the mixture out before it reaches the cylinder. This typically shows up as a hunting idle, hard starting, or an engine that runs lean regardless of carburettor adjustment. Fitting a replacement manifold kit restores a sealed path between the carburettor and cylinder.
