Original Honda carburettor gasket fits Honda GHX50, G100 and GX100 engines, generators, lawnmowers. This gasket seals the joint between the carburettor and the intake manifold, keeping the incoming air-fuel mixture contained within a sealed passage on its way to the cylinder. Once it hardens, compresses or cracks, unmetered air enters the intake tract at the joint, upsetting the air-fuel ratio and typically causing a rough or unstable idle, hesitation under acceleration or hard starting. Fitting a replacement whenever the carburettor is removed for servicing restores a properly sealed joint.
