PATRIOT BP 41 Chainsaw CHAMPION RCJ7Y (NGK BPMR7A EQ.) Spark Plug

Champion RCJ7Y (NGK BPMR7A) spark plug fits Patriot BP 41 and many other chainsaws. The spark plug sits in the cylinder head, and its electrode gap produces the spark that ignites the fuel-air mixture at the top of each compression stroke, driven by the ignition coil. Over time the electrode erodes, carbon fouling builds up, or the gap drifts out of spec, weakening the spark and leading to hard starting, misfiring, or rough idling. Fitting a replacement spark plug restores a strong, correctly gapped spark for reliable ignition.
