SCHEPPACH CSP2540 Chainsaw Chain Catcher

Chain catcher fits the Scheppach CSP2540 chainsaw and many other 25cc chainsaws. Mounted beneath the guide bar on the chainsaw body, the chain catcher is a safety component designed to stop the saw chain if it derails from the bar or snaps during use, intercepting it before it can reach the operator’s hand or leg. A broken or missing chain catcher removes this protection entirely — the saw should not be used until a replacement is fitted. This is a safety-critical part that must be in good condition for the chainsaw to be operated safely.
