SCHEPPACH CSP2540 Chainsaw Choke Rod / Lever With Grommet

Choke rod / lever fits Scheppach CSP2540 and many other 25cc chainsaws. The choke rod links the external choke lever to the choke valve inside the carburettor, letting the operator restrict incoming air to enrich the fuel-air mixture for cold starts. When the rod bends, its linkage pivot wears, or the lever breaks, the choke valve may not open or close fully, leaving the engine either flooding with the choke stuck closed or failing to start in cold conditions with the choke stuck open. Fitting a replacement rod restores proper choke control.
