HECHT 947 Chainsaw Air Filter / Carburettor Intake Manifold With Bolts

Intake / inlet manifold with bolts fits Hecht 947. Replacing part number 947000061. The intake manifold is the short duct connecting the carburettor outlet to the cylinder inlet port, channelling the fuel and air mixture from the carburettor into the engine. A cracked or damaged intake manifold allows unmetered air to enter the inlet tract at the manifold joint, leaning out the fuel mixture and causing symptoms including rough idling, poor throttle response or the engine cutting out under load. Supplied complete with the mounting bolts so no additional hardware is needed for fitting. Replacing the full manifold rather than attempting to seal a cracked one is the reliable approach on a working saw.
