OLEO-MAC GSH400 Chainsaw Fuel Tank Breather & Pipe / Line

Fuel tank breather valve and pipe / line fits Oleo-Mac GSH400 and many other chainsaws. The breather valve lets air into the fuel tank as fuel is drawn out, preventing a vacuum from building up that would otherwise restrict fuel flow to the carburettor; the pipe/line connects the valve into the tank. When the valve clogs or sticks closed, or the pipe splits or comes loose, the tank can’t vent properly, and fuel delivery to the carburettor becomes restricted as the engine runs — often showing up as an engine that starts fine but stalls or loses power as the tank empties. Fitting a replacement breather and pipe restores correct tank venting.
