PATRIOT BP 41 Chainsaw Oil Filler Cap

Oil filler cap fits Patriot BP 41 and many other chainsaws. The oil filler cap seals the bar and chain oil tank filler opening, keeping oil contained while letting the tank vent correctly as oil is drawn out to the guide bar. When the cap’s seal perishes, its vent clogs, or the thread cracks, it can let oil weep past the seal during transport, or fail to vent the tank properly, restricting oil delivery to the guide bar as the tank empties. Fitting a replacement cap restores a proper seal and correct tank venting.
