SCHEPPACH CSP2540 Chainsaw Carburettor Fitting Plate & Bolts

Carburettor fitting plate with bolts fits Scheppach CSP2540 and many other 25cc chainsaws. This plate sits between the carburettor and the intake manifold, spreading clamping force evenly across the mounting face as the bolts are tightened, so the carburettor seats squarely and holds a consistent seal at the joint. When the plate warps, its bolt holes wear, or the bolts corrode and lose grip, the carburettor can no longer be clamped down evenly, letting unmetered air into the intake tract at that joint. This typically shows up as a rough or unstable idle, hesitation on acceleration or hard starting. Fitting a replacement fitting plate with bolts restores a secure, evenly clamped carburettor mounting.
