SCHEPPACH CSP2540 Chainsaw Ignition Coil With Bolts

Ignition coil module fits Scheppach CSP2540 and many other 25cc chainsaws. The ignition coil is an electronic module mounted adjacent to the flywheel that generates the high-voltage pulse delivered to the spark plug at each combustion cycle. When the coil fails — through internal winding breakdown, heat damage or cracked housing — the spark plug receives no signal and the engine will not fire. A no-spark condition on these saws points to the ignition coil as the most likely cause after the spark plug itself has been ruled out.
